A Houston based cloud computing infrastructure management company Xervmon is eyeing on the comprehensive cloud management portfolio for multiple cloud platforms such as – Amazon, Digital Ocean, Rackspace and others.
This was announced by the cloud cost assessment startup that it is going to launch its cloud computing infrastructure management platform, which will support all famous cloud platforms in the industry such as – Amazon, Rackspace and others. This announcement was made public on Monday, Feb 17, 2014.
According to the official statement, this new platform is capable of managing cloud computing infrastructure running on multiple cloud services offered by the major cloud service provider. At its beginning, this comprehensive cloud management platform will support Rackspace, Amazon and Digital Ocean, but very soon, it will be revamped for other platforms such as – Azure, OpenStack and others.
In the statement, it was further elaborated about the functioning of this latest version of the software platform that it can monitor and manage workloads across multiple cloud services supported by the system simultaneously. It can not only monitors and allow to manage existing cloud infrastructures, but also helps the customers to implement and migrate your cloud infrastructure across multiple clouds on the same platform – thus, it is one of the most exciting platforms that also supports HP Cloud Matrix private cloud implementation.
In his statement, the co-founder of the company, Babu Jayaram said, “Xervmon’s server migration capabilities are a particular draw among early testers which include cloud service providers,” he further added that “we have been providing service to many companies especially, in power and energy sector, for many years to manage their cloud computing infrastructure, and we found it very crucial to have a consolidated cloud management platform that can help these companies to manage their cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud computing services and portfolios – private clouds and private clouds. While talking about the main features of this platform, the company explained that three major activities – provisioning, automation and management – can be performed simultaneously on this comprehensive platform across multiple cloud services. The Xervmon Console offers the customers with the agility, flexibility, independence, governance, audit, and unified UX across multiple clouds.
“The goal of our service is to let companies plan, budget, design, deploy, manage and migrate workloads across cloud providers as needed from a single dashboard,” said Jayaram.
