GreatResponder.Com on June 26, 2012 : Endurance International Group (EIG) is big name in the web hosting and cloud hosting business. EIG already owns many great web hosting providers and domain name registrar companies on the market place. These companies also include BlueHost and FatCow web hosting Companies.
There are many reports roaring in the market that EIG is going to acquire another big market player in web hosting. This time, it is HostGator Company to be acquired by Endurance International Group. The CEO of HostGator web hosting company Mr. Brent Oxley said in his internal email that company was in process of acquisition with Endurance International Group.
Reports associated with CEO of endurance group Mr. Hari Ravichandran say that EIG is raising $225 million to acquire HostGator web hosting company. Meanwhile, in an internal email, Mr. Oxley also confirmed the same and also maintained that the buildings both in Austin and Houston will remain the property of Oxley leasing company owned by him.
HostGator is one of the biggest companies in the field of web hosting business. It possesses more than 12000 servers and more than 400000 customers. Mr. Brent Oxley also assured his employees with logical reasons that there is no fear for change in management and lay off of any employee because Endurance International Group is increasing the office area in both locations i.e. Austin and Houston. He further said, “BlueHost was at 280 employees when the sale closed and they have 450 today. Their management team has stayed the same and the culture has stayed the same. Now, the BlueHost culture, employees, and philosophy have taken hold to become the new status quo of EIG.”
Mr. Oxley also indicated that this process may be completed in about three to four weeks. He also given few reasons for this acquisition of his company.
