IRISSCERT which is a voluntary security response group records the phishing attacks carried out on the websites in this area. As per its record 408 websites were hijacked for hosting phishing sites, which are hosted on the behalf of cyber criminals.

He further said, “Many senior managers wrongly perceive IT security spending as a form of insurance. They should be looking at it from a risk perspective (and ask) – what can go wrong? Companies should assess the potential threat to their business against several criteria, such as financial loss, downtime and business disruption. Then they should ask: is this something we’re concerned about?”
