Cloud Hosting Ubiquity Launches a New Cloud Service Focused on API and More Customer Control


The branding of cloud services is one of the most left over concept in the field of cloud hosting. Ubiquity hosting will focus on branding with additional emphasis on API and customer control.


GREATRESPONDER.COM – This was announced on Monday, Jan 20, 2014 by the cloud hosting Ubiquity that it is going to launch a new cloud service that will merge the existing offerings of the company into one and will add features that provide more control to the customers and will focus more on the API.


It was further elaborated in the statement that existing cloud services of the company – Ubiquity Servers and Ubiquity Hosting – will be merged into one service named as Ubiquity Hosting. This new service based on in-house development of software and related tools. This cloud hosting services would provide more control to the customers over the cloud resources they purchase. This service pays special attention to the APIs that the company believes, is the major highlight of the Ubiquity’s new cloud hosting services.


While explaining the features and capabilities of this new service, it was informed that the service is developed completely by the in-house team that have customized the features and capabilities with respect to the API and customer control. This service would be available from company’s six big data centers that are located in different cities of the USA – Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle. The company also plans to start this new service from Amsterdam, Europe later on.


This cloud hosting service would be available for as low as $4 per month, which will include 15 MB of RAM, ITB of bandwidth and 15GB of Solid State Disk (SSD). This new service would use Intel technology, KVM based hypervisor and SSD raid array.


The head of the marketing department of the company Mr. Daniel Haim, in his statement, said, “We are in process of re-branding of cloud services, which is a leftover concept in the domain of cloud computing services,” “We are aggressively working on it and developed in-house technology to focus on the most promising features such a more customer control over resources and the addition of highly featured API capability” he added.


With this new featured cloud service of the company would be very helpful for our customer to establish control and use API more frequently and independently.
