Greatresponder.com – 2011-08-02 – On Thursday, the web hosting and domain name registrar Go Daddy made the announcement that it has now names Andrew Kline, former Obama policy advisor and attorney the new deputy general counsel for global policy of Go Daddy. This announcement came in in about a week after the web hosting provider officially launches the 4th Generation of their cloud-based web hosting services.
Thanks to his new position, Andrew Kline will help the web hosting company expand internationally. He will also help as combat online illegal activities such as rogue Internet pharmacies and copyright infringement.
Kline will be based in Washington, DC and joins vice president for government relations Martha Johnston, who joined Go Daddy in December of 2005.
“After seeing Go Daddy’s commitment and pledge to ‘do the right thing,’ I was inspired … and knew I could go into the private sector and make a difference. Go Daddy has demonstrated its commitment to keeping the Internet safe in a way that gets results and I want to be a part of that team.” said Andrew Kline.
Andrew Kline has spent many years in his career focusing on said Go Daddy CEO and founder Bob Parsons. Kline was previously a federal prosecutor.

Like our General Counsel Christine Jones, Andrew is an attorney who knows how to get things done, a leader and a person who works to make a difference … and as fast as the Internet is growing, Go Daddy is going to stay ahead of it,” said Go Daddy CEO and founder Bob Parsons.
The web hosting company recently announced that it has plans to have a partnership with KKR, Silver Lake and Technology Crossover Ventures. The investments are allegedly estimated at around $2.3 billion.
